It's hard to believe it has been more than 4 weeks since this video was recorded on the set of The Atheist Experience, after one of their live shows, where they also produce the Non Prophets podcast every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month. I also had the pleasure of helping out in the control room for the Non Prophets podcast on August 2nd, filling in for Mark Vandebrake while he was away for the week.
I had a great time in Austin, meeting so many like-minded people, many of whom I had known about for nearly 2 decades through their show that started on a local public access channel, but has since grown to reach a worldwide audience, and gets callers from all around the world. Despite the fact that they haven't known me for nearly as long as I've known them, they greeted me with open arms, like an old friend or even family.
I have been wanting to do something similar for a while, but this experience has lit a fire under my butt. Anthony Magnabosco thinks I would be good at street epistemology. What do you all think?
"SMS Marketing" is sending people spammy text messages. Do you enjoy receiving spam messages on your phone? Neither do I, and I don't know of anyone who does.
"SEO Marketing" is not a real thing, because "SEO" stands for "Search Engine Optimization," which means optimizing websites for search engines, which can only be done by the website's developer(s) and those who add the content. If someone claims to be an "SEO Marketer," then that means they spam forums, blogs, and other social media for a living.
Hiring an "SMS Marketer" or "SEO Marketer" will only hurt your company's reputation.
That announcement by Thor is nearly 11 years old, and it is still in effect. I have lost count of the number of boards I have had to suspend this year alone for "adult" (to put it mildly) photos and videos, and all of those boards were created by long-standing Runboard members who should know better.
Yesterday, someone advertised a message board at The Runboard Directory, using the words, "erotic" and "sexual". When I looked at the board, I found naked CGI characters. I won't even describe here what those characters were doing, because the description itself would violate Runboard's Terms of Service. This should go without saying, but I suspended the board.
The person who created that board has been on Runboard since 2006, according to the account registration date, so I am baffled as to why this person would believe it was ok.
A bit of advice: If you want to create a message board for sharing "erotic" and/or "sexual" video clips and/or photos, don't create it on Runboard, because I will suspend it.
